General purpose of role, requirements and tasks:- To identify sales opportunities based on customer needs, to package loans and payment protection plans in accordance with lenders criteria and to sell the most appropriate product back to the customer.
Key responsibilities of the role:
To identify sales opportunities while taking into consideration customers needs and requirements
To identify the best deal for our customers and client
To achieve and exceed sales targets (including ppp) by selling ethically to the appropriate customers
To package loans to our lenders to ensure sale to payout is achieved within 30 days
To package loans according to the criteria of the lenders whilst at the same time mazimising profit from potential deals
To be aware of the team requirements in terms of targets and profits
To comply with service level agreements for the department along with the requirements of the external regulatory bodies
To effectively deal with general customer queries with regards to pending applications resolving them to the satisfaction of the customer and client
To be able to identify additional lending opportunities for the department
To review targets on a daily basis to ensure achievement in all areas
To manage cost efficiencies within the department and be aware of the compliance requirements for the company
To adapt to and manage change pro-actively and positively and contribute towards change within the workplace
To be able to adopt appropriate customer service skills for all customers
General To use the appropriate questioning skills to effectively explore the borrowers world
To achieve zero complaints from both internal and external customers
To work flexible hours including late nights and Saturdays
To attend work on time and have no unauthorised absences
Candidate requirements:
3 months experience in a similar role
Sales experience preferable
Knowledge of FSA guidelines and experience of working within the guidelines - ideal but not essential
Experience of working to targets
Experience of the finance industry eg: banks*building societies
Attributes
